How I handle disputs among friends

My friend announced in a giant group text that whoever messaged me first would get a concert ticket that she couldn’t attend. Two people messaged me at the same time. I wrote this email to both of them:

Both of you messaged me at 923pm. I dont have a seconds/minutes timestamp on my texts. So we need to figure out who gets this ticket.

How are we figuring that out? PRISONER’S DILEMMA STYLE.

That is, tell me who you think should get the ticket.

If BOTH of you choose yourself, Jena will re-message out to the masses that the ticket is available again. If one of you chooses yourself and the other person chooses the other, the selfish one (who chose themselves) gets the ticket. If you each choose each other, I’ll let you two decide who gets it between one another.

You may collude, if you so choose. That is, you could both agree to choose each other, but then the other person could pull a sneak attack and choose themselve behind the other’s back.

Face off!
